Upute učenicima: Idioms in English language Idioms are phrases that have a meaning that is very different from its individual parts. e.g. when pigs fly (something that will never happen);  dog’s life (a life that is difficult  unpleasant  or boring);  take with a grain of salt (this means not to take what someone says too seriously) Do online research on idioms. Choose 3 idioms that you like.  Find their meaning.  Start your own folder and word document in google drive in our folder. Give it your name. You will put everything you create in it. Write the idiom its meaning. Use them in a sentence of your own. Illustrate the idiom (it can be the literal meaning of the words in the idiom - doslovno značenje or you can mix literal meaning and figurative meaning - preneseno značenje in your illustrations). Use storyboardthat (we used it for comics) for illustrating. you can make only a certain number of comics per week so maybe it would be good if you would make it all as one comic and then cut each picture separately by using paint (bojanje). Make an infographic using Canva. An infographic should have an idiom its meaning a sentence with it and an illustration.  Once you finish put it in your folder.
