Nastavnička priprema

Pitanja za učenike: •	What do you already know about Friday the 13th? •	Have you heard any theories about why it’s unlucky?

Video: Why Friday the 13th Is Unlucky: The Knights Templar Betrayal (~2 min) Zadatak: •	Učenici zabilježe jednu stvar koju su naučili o povijesti (npr. uhićenje Viteza Templara, 1307). •	Kratka rasprava: što ih iznenadilo, što su već znali.

OPCIJA 1 •	U parovima ili malim grupama učenici prave rečenice koristeći First Conditional povezane s videom. ILI  OPCIJA 2 •	If the king arrests the Knights Templar on Friday the 13th…  •	If people hear this story…  •	If something terrible happens on one day…  •	If people believe the story…  •	…people will start to fear that day. •	…the story will spread across Europe. •	…the day will become unlucky. •	…they will tell their children about it.

Brainstorming – učenici spominju praznovjerja: •	If a black cat crosses your path… •	If you walk under a ladder… •	If you break a mirror… •	If a ladybug lands on you… •	If you find a four-leaf clover… Video: kratki video o praznovjerjima i petku 13. (~6 min)

Create your own historical story Upute: •	Učenici smišljaju najzanimljiviju verziju povijesti koristeći barem 3 conditional rečenice. •	Mogu koristiti uhićenje templara ili apsurdne povijesne scenarije.   

Upute: •	Učenici dovršavaju rečenice u svojim bilježnicama koristeći First Conditional. Početci rečenica: •	If you see a ghost in your kitchen tonight… •	If you hear your phone ringing but nobody is calling… •	If you open the fridge and the light doesn’t turn on… •	If you find a mysterious key on the floor… •	If you hear someone knocking on your window at midnight… •	If your shadow suddenly moves by itself… •	If you see your reflection blink before you do… •	If you hear footsteps behind you but nobody is there… •	If your dog suddenly starts talking… •	If you wake up at exactly 3:13 a.m. on Friday the 13th…
