1. Warm-up (5 mins) — Group Discussion In groups of 3, students discuss: •	When was the last time they had to explain something they read to someone? •	What challenges did they face? 2. Input (10 mins) — Individual Reading Each student reads a short article (approx. 300–400 words) and completes a worksheet with: •	Main idea •	3–4 key points •	Any new or difficult vocabulary 3. Pair Activity (15 mins) — Peer Mediation Task Student A explains the article to Student B who hasn't read it (swap roles after). Student B: •	Asks questions •	Writes a short summary based on what Student A says 4. Group Activity (15 mins) — Collaborative Poster In groups of 4 (two pairs), students create a visual summary (mind map, infographic or poster) that simplifies the article for someone with no prior knowledge. 5. Plenary & Feedback (10 mins) Each group presents their poster briefly. Discuss as a class: •	Which mediation strategies helped the most? •	What was difficult?

Lesson Procedure (60 minutes): 1. Warm-up (5 mins) — Think-Pair-Share Question: "Have you ever had to explain something someone else said to another person?" 2. Input (10 mins) — Individual Listening & Notes Each student listens to one short audio clip and takes notes on: •	Who is speaking and to whom •	Main message •	Key supporting ideas or instructions 3. Pair Work (15 mins) — Mediate the Message Student A listens to Clip 1, Student B listens to Clip 2. Each explains their audio to the other using their notes, aiming for clarity and simplification. 4. Group Work (20 mins) — Matching Task In groups of 4: •	Each pair shares their mediated versions. •	The group gets short written summaries of all audio clips (scrambled). •	They match the mediated explanations to the original audio summaries. 5. Wrap-up & Reflection (10 mins) Class discussion: •	How did you simplify language without losing meaning? •	What strategies worked best when relaying spoken information?
