In this lesson, students create a personal bucket list by selecting five meaningful life goals. For each item, they include an image and write a short paragraph using future forms (e.g., I will, I want to, I hope to) to explain their dreams and why each one matters to them.

Ss will be able to: understand and use the concept of a "bucket list" , talk about their dreams and life goals using "want to", "would like to", and "hope to" , practice writing a short paragraph about future ambitions with the help of prompts..

• T shows a picture of the global art project “Before I Die” wall and asks Ss. “What kind of things do people write here? Why?” • Ss brainstorm goals or dreams they would include. • Ss write their ideas on a shared Padlet wall using prompts in the instructions on the Padlet Wall (Before I die, I would like to…).

• T introduces phrase bucket list, where the phrase comes from (kick the bucket) • Ss brainstorm different categories of bucket list ideas for teenagers: (e.g. travelling; adventure; learning; personal growth, creativity, skill, kindness, just for fun…)
