I know what you did this summer -  activity Goals: enhancing students' ability to engage in meaningful conversations and deliver concise presentations expanding students' vocabulary range encouraging development of critical thinking Learning outcomes: develop well-structured short talks that incorporate new vocabulary and present personal insights assess peers' presentations offering constructive feedback  utilize provided conversation cards to initiate diverse and engaging discussions Activity 1. Covering the vocabulary relevant for the activity:  Google Slides WordArt Activity 2. Each student will receive five cards each with one of the provided questions written on it. They should walk around the room and engage in conversations with five different people asking a different question from their cards each time. If they feel it's necessary they can jot down brief notes on the card. conversation cards Activity 3. After these conversations students will be required to prepare a short talk about the information they've gathered regarding their colleagues. However they should not reveal the names of the individuals they spoke to so the others try to guess who they are talking about. During their talks students should also endeavour to incorporate some of the new vocabulary we've covered. This will provide an opportunity for everyone to use and showcase the vocabulary related to their summer experiences social interactions and technological encounters.
