Media literacy plays an important part in today's world students are taught how to deconstruct and construct social media posts.  In this lesson plan students learn how to create a Twitter post/TikTok story following the basic rules for creating TikTok videos. 1.  Ss write 3 hashtags about themselves on Linoit  wall 2.  Ss compare social media vs. traditional media who creates the content:  the reliability  the cost 3. In groups Ss analyze a Tik-Tok story/Twitter post – its elements and the messages. 4. Ss create a meme for a Twitter post following these guidelines:  Choose a topic (what kind of message you want to create). Choose an image (free or your own). Write a comment. 5. Ss create a Tik-Tok story following these guidelines: Choose a topic (what kind of message you want to create - educational entertaining tutorial...)   Choose which elements you will use (emojis polls...) Design a storyboard before creating a story: answer questions when  where  why  who and how. Write text choose stickers and smileys. Think of ways of getting a reaction.
