Why do we need a better internet? 1. Students brainstorm in groups what they need the Internet for in their everyday life. 2. In groups students choose 4 questions from the list and search the internet in search of answers to the chosen questions: What worries users about information security? Who needs to develop media literacy skills? What are the behavioural consequences of cyberbullying? How can Trojan horses be recognized? What would be considered a more severe form of a computer attack? How to prevent permanent data loss in case of an attack? What to do if we doubt the validity of a site's information? Why is it important to remain anonymous and use nicknames online? How to control the visibility of the content you post on social networks? Can I access all content on the Internet? Which computer applications do we need to give permission to run? What is a hoax? 3. In the same groups they practice and present a joint oral presentation of the results of group work. 4. After the presentation they choose a piece of advice on how to improve the Internet and record a common video message. 5. Next students work individually to create Instagram posts in Canva inviting other students to behave more responsibly on the Internet. 6. Self-evaluation.
