Opis materijala
This project-based literature unit introduces students to Tales from Shakespeare by Mary and Charles Lamb. Through collaborative research, discussion and presentations, students explore Shakespeare’s life, literary themes, characters and historical context. The material develops reading comprehension, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills while encouraging students to analyse literary works and engage creatively with Shakespearean stories through quizzes, presentations and interactive activities.

Learning Objectives By the end of the unit, students will be able to: • demonstrate understanding of selected Shakespearean stories; • explain the purpose and significance of Tales from Shakespeare; • analyse themes, characters and plot elements; • recognise Shakespeare's influence on literature and culture; • collaborate in groups and present findings; • create and participate in a literature quiz. Learning Outcomes Students will: • identify key facts about Mary and Charles Lamb; • explain why Shakespeare's plays were adapted for younger readers; • analyse selected stories and their literary elements; • compare different Shakespearean characters and themes; • work collaboratively to prepare and deliver a presentation; • create quiz questions based on their research.
