Teaching Context (International Women's Rights Day & Women's Month) Gender equality in the labour market is not only a social value but a legal obligation embedded in both Croatian and European Union law. Despite comprehensive legal frameworks, young people often lack awareness of their workplace rights and available protection mechanisms. This interdisciplinary 3-4-lesson workshop integrates law, civic education and English language learning (CLIL approach) to develop students’ legal literacy, critical thinking and European citizenship awareness. The activity was designed within the framework of the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) Programme, and was implemented in English classes in Romania, Greece and Spain within the international eTwinning project "Europe2Go“.

The author (English/Croatian teacher) is a coordinator of the school European Parliament Ambassador Program (EPAS), who strongly believes in gender equality and European and human values.
