I this lesson Ss recall shared classroom experiences, celebrate each other’s achievements, and create a personalized yearbook page using English creatively and meaningfully.

Ss will be able to describe key moments from the school year using past tenses, express personal thoughts and advice through written reflection, use creative elements (images, avatars, memes) to present ideas visually and textually.

Group work - Ss draw or design a timeline (paper or digital), they discuss and label at least 5 moments they remember, adding dates (months), drawings, or symbols.

Group work: Ss nominate peers for different categories like “Most Improved,” “Best Presentation Voice,” or “Class Comedian.”. They write 2–3 sentences explaining why their peer deserves the award. Students present Oscars to the winners. (worksheet in the materials)

Individual work - Ss use Canva or paper to design their yearbook page. They write short reflections and creative texts (picture/avatar, what I was good at in English, my favourite moment in class, a meme/GIF that represents my struggles, a note to my future self).

Ss use a checklist to see if they have followed all the instructions. Ss read each others yearbook pages and choose the best ones.
