In this lesson, students raise awareness about environmental issues by designing their own eco posters. After learning key vocabulary and exploring example slogans, students choose a topic they care about (like pollution or saving water) and create a poster using a digital template.

Students will be able to: Identify key environmental vocabulary related to Earth Day. Create a slogan and a message about an environmental issue they care about.

T posts the 4 signs in room corners: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Protect. T Says a sentence using the target vocabulary. Students go to the corner that matches best. Examples: • “I bring my own bottle every day.” (Reuse) • “I turn off the lights when I leave the room.” (Reduce) • “I put cans and paper in the correct bin.” (Recycle) • “I plant flowers in my garden.” (Protect) • “I use cotton bag when I go shopping.” (Reuse) T asks simple follow-up: “Why?”, “Do you do this?”

Ss take photos of posters and create a video which they upload on the school’s video. Posters are uploaded to Padlet where students write comments like (very nice) and give stars, they are also shared on a class wall.
