The "Our Holiday Memory Book" lesson aims to develop students' writing and speaking skills, enhance creative expression, and foster cultural awareness. By sharing holiday experiences, students improve social and emotional connections, engage in reflective thinking, and boost motivation.

Activity 1

Whole class – teacher tells students about his/her New Year’s/Christmas holiday; teacher writes the sentences on the whiteboard: 1. I have spent New Year with my friends. 2. We played some games, listened to music and danced. 3. My favourite part was when we all wished each other Happy New Year. 4. I promised myself I will join a gym this year. Students make questions based on the sentences on the board. Teacher writes questions words to help students make questions: 1. Who did you spend New Year with? 2. What did you do? 3. What was your favourite part? 4. What New Year’s resolution(s) did you make?

Activity 2

Individual work – students answer the questions for themselves. Teacher monitors and helps if needed.

Activity 3

Individual work – students design their page in the eBook Our holiday memory book based on the answers they have written.

Activity 4

Formative assessment – students choose the best eBook page; they give reasons for their choice
