Green and Blue Well-being action plan focuses on integrating green and blue elements into our school's outdoors, transforming it into a sustainable and educational space. Through the implementation of nature-inspired climate shelters, the plan aims to create peaceful and inviting environments for students, teachers, and the wider community to enjoy both for educational purposes as well as free-time activities. By employing design thinking methods, students will actively engage in the design process through all five steps, fostering the development of essential soft skills such as creativity, cooperation, communication, and critical thinking. These skills will not only benefit students but also contribute to a more cohesive and resilient school community, including teachers, parents, and the local community. This action plan will help all the stakeholders embrace nature's power to enhance sustainability, promote education, and foster well-being for all. It will also help create a greener, bluer, more vibrant future for the school and community.

Nastavnička priprema

Individual work - students watch a video created by other students about making the interior of their school more beautiful, sustainable and together. After watching, they make notes of suggested changes and compare the suggested changes to the present situation in school. They also answer and discuss the question what it means beautiful, sustainable and together.

Group work - students identify the problems in the school’s outdoors – front and back yard. They answer the question: What are the things that we would like to change? They make notes and/or take pictures of the problems. Each team presents their findings. 

Group work – students analyse the problems they have “collected”, they come up with a solution for the issue (sustainable outdoors that can be used for education and relaxation); in teams, students ideate how to make school yard more sustainable using green and sustainable materials. 

Group work – students organize their ideas and make a presentation using canva. They write the narration (introduction, the body, conclusion) using signpost language and the checklist. Teacher gives them feedback after which they record it with the help of vocaroo. Add the audio to each slide separately and download the created video. 

Teacher assesses the oral presentation of the video.
