This learning scenario is created as part of the English language teaching in Croatia. The aim is to raise awareness of the Croatian and European identity legacy and the importance of our roots and identity. Students should learn to comprehend the complexity of our origin, where we come from and how discrimination can lead to war and bloodshed. It is aimed at students who are in their final year of study. The outcome is an argumentative essay related to the topic as part of their incoming matura examination.
