In this activity, students will begin with a Halloween-themed page, carefully read it to identify words related to Halloween. They will then select and circle those words, copy them into their notebooks to create a draft of their Halloween poem. Next, they will clearly mark the chosen words, covering the remaining text. Students will enhance their poems by adding Halloween-themed decorations. Finally, they will review their Halloween poems using self-check questions to ensure they have followed the instructions and acquired skills in writing and analyzing poetry.

Nastavnička priprema

Teacher writes "Halloween" in the middle of the board and invites students to draw everything that reminds them of Halloween on the board.

The teacher projects the word cloud from the presentation to help students name all the drawn pictures on the board in their notebooks.

Students discuss and add to their notes in the notebooks.

Students create Halloween Blackout Poetry, as a fun and creative way to turn existing text into a new work of art. They receive detailed instructions in the presentation.

Students set up an exhibition of their artwork in the school's lobby.
